printIQ Welcomes DocketManager

printIQ Welcomes DocketManager as Sister Company Under Banyan Software

printIQ, a leading provider of Management Information Systems (MIS) for the print industry, welcomes DocketManager to the Banyan Software family. Banyan Software, the parent company of printIQ, has acquired DocketManager as part of its ongoing expansion within the print industry solutions portfolio.

This strategic move brings together the two most successfully launched MIS platforms in the North American print space over the last decade. Both companies have built their reputations on delivering cloud-based, SaaS solutions with a strong focus on integration and automation, creating opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and enhanced innovation while each company maintains its distinct brand and customer relationships.

Shared Leadership, Distinct Operations

John Alden, CEO of printIQ, has been appointed CEO of DocketManager, bringing his extensive experience in the print MIS space to guide DocketManager’s strategic direction. Brent Darling will continue to lead DocketManager’s day-to-day operations, ensuring continuity for customers and employees.

“We’re thrilled to welcome DocketManager as a sister company within the Banyan family,” said John Alden, CEO of printIQ and DocketManager. “DocketManager has built an exceptional reputation for simplifying print operations and delivering value to their customers. While we’ll remain separate brands serving our respective customer bases, being part of the same family creates valuable opportunities to share and leverage our combined expertise and invest in cutting-edge AI technology to take our solutions further and better serve the industry.”

Commitment to Customer Independence

Both printIQ and DocketManager will continue to operate as distinct solutions, each serving their customers with the same products, support teams, and service they’ve come to trust. DocketManager customers will experience seamless continuity with their existing contracts and support relationships remaining unchanged.

The sister company relationship creates potential for future collaboration on integrations, shared best practices, and complementary product development; all while respecting each platform’s unique identity and customer base.

Banyan’s Long-Term Vision

As part of Banyan Software’s permanent hold philosophy, both printIQ and DocketManager benefit from the stability and resources of an owner committed to long-term growth. This approach ensures sustained investment in product innovation, customer support and market expansion for both companies.

“Banyan’s model of acquiring and permanently holding great software companies creates the ideal environment for collaboration without consolidation,” added Alden. “This is about building stronger, individual companies that can better serve their customers for the long term.”
