Healeys were already using an MIS but felt it needed a more modern system, says managing director Philip Dodd. He says
the old system “was not being improved and my main thought was that a new system, with our staff here now, would bring a
more modern responsive MIS to the business.”
A cloud based system would also negate the need for a costly server update every few years and allow better access 24
hours a day.

“The system itself, but mainly the people involved and the enthusiasm shown for the product,” says Mr Dodd. “Also, contact with an early printIQ user was very valuable, via our BPIF membership.
That user reference is incredibly useful in the decision making process”. PrintIQ implemented the system during the pandemic which brought many challenges. “The adoption process was far longer than anticipated, mainly due to many absences including multiple outbreaks of Covid and operational requirements,” Mr Dodd admits. “The ongoing support was good and once we were working with an expanded team here progress was more rapid. We went live in July and have spent much of the time since in refining the system.”
